1. What is Public Administration?
Public Administration is a part of government process. It design, draw and implement government policy. It is a tool through which Government can function. It translates the politics into the reality that citizen see everyday.
2. What is difference between Political science and Public administration?
Political science is a social science concerned with the theory and practice of politics and the description and analysis of political system and behaviour. Whereas Public administration consists of federal, state and local government agencies that administer, oversee and manage public program and have executive, legislative or judicial authority over other institution in given area.
3. What is difference between Public administration and public policy?
Public administration is a tool to execute the public policy. Generally public policy is associated with the constitution of the law as passed by the legislature. Public policy may be purely format and far from practice. THe public administration thus discovered to be narrow, restricted and unduly formalistic. At the end of the day the real of meaning of public administration should be the attainment of the great life to the citizens.
4. features of public administration.
There are main four features of Public administration. Ist one is Public accountability. Second, Social equity, 3rd Under law, and 4th and last one is Diversity.
5. What is the goals of Public administration?
There are main four goal of Public administration. Ist one is Relevance: Administration action not only to the administration but also to the public should be kept in mind. Second is value: Emphasis on personal values that is benefit the elite section of societies should be rejected. 3rd one is Social equity and last one is Change. Change is necessary to prevent public administration from coming under the dominance of the powerful interest group. These changes should bring about social equity and should suit the future needs.
6. What is Public management?
Public management is an adoption of tested technique for collective problem solving. It is a combination of public and management. So it is the supremacy of basic constitutional principle, rule of law, equity, fairness and so on as well as managerial ingredients like effectiveness, efficiency, cost benefit analysis and the like.
7. What is Decision making?
Decision making is defined as selection coarse of action from among alternatives, and it covers matters relating to planning, organizing, directing, staffing and controlling.
8. what do you know about LPG.
LPG extends for Liberalization, Privatization, and Globalization.
  • Liberalization: It refers to relaxation from government restriction usually in areas of socio-economic policy.
  • Privatization: It refers to an action which removed a function from control of central government including reallocation of responsibilities.
  • Globalization: It is often used to refer to economic globalization i.e integration of national economy into international economy through trade, FDI, capital flows, migration and spread of technology.
9. PM Modi always says about Good Governance what it is and how it will help to common mass of people.
Governance is the process of decision-making and the process by which decisions are implemented or not implemented. As per UNESCAP, Good governance should have 8 major characteristics. It is participatory, consensus oriented, accountable, transparent, responsive, effective and efficient, equitable and inclusive and follows the rule of law. Good Governance also assure that corruption is minimized, the views of minorities are taken into account and that the voices of the most vulnerable in society are heard in decision-making. It is also responsive to the present and future needs of society.
10. What is Right to Information? What is the constraints of this act.
The Right to Information Act became operational on 12th October, 2005. This law empowered us to seek information from Public Authorities, thus making the Government and its functionaries more accountable and responsible.This right also include the right to verify the given details by Information officer. The main constraints of this act is : Low public awareness, RTI act in section 26 states that Government should organize educational programmes to advances the understanding of people regarding RTI act, But one survey revealed that only 15% people aware of the RTI act. Secondly constraints is poor quality of information is being provided. In most cases information seeker dissatisfy by the information, It leads to increase in first level appeal. Section 7(9) gives the right to verify as well, but in many cases PIO doesn't support information seeker. In many cases PIO fails to provide information within 30 days. One survey done by RTI.gov.in revealed that the PIO lack of proper training. PIO also facing challenges in getting information due to lack of proper record management system.
can all information be taken by RTI act?
No, It can't. There is no obligation to give information disclosure of which would affect the integrity, sovereignty of India, the security, strategic, scientific and economic interest of the state, relation with foreign state or lead to incitement of an offence
